Living a Fun Life

​There are many ways to live a fun and fulfilling life....
​
These are three messages I live everyday by....

1. Staying true to myself
I love me, but I also know there is a better me that I could be. I will never say that I have reached my goal. I will keep growing and keep allowing my goals to grow with me. 

2. Finding inner peace
Sometimes you have to pause and take time for yourself.  Everyone needs to have an outlet. Whether you meditate, jog, go to the spa, or just chill at the beach in the middle of the week, you have to make a part of your week peaceful. No working, no taking calls, no thinking about your to-do list. Take a mental break and find a peaceful place to clear your thoughts. 

3. Developing healthy relationships
The by-product of loving yourself is the ability to love others. In a previous blog post, I spoke about an empty well giving no water. That same reference is true about the heart. Love does not flow from a cautious heart. You have to be comfortable with your love ones and friendships.  Neither of these should cause harm to you or make you feel threatened. Remember you are in control of what you plant in your garden. Every now and then, a weed will grow but you have to be quick to dispose of it. Keep only those that build you up and let go of people who pull you down. 

 

​In closing, be proactive about your happiness. Happiness is something you are in control of.   All you have to do is create an action plan. The plan can be simple. You don't have to write a book or make a million goals. Just decide the how and have fun.
