How much are you paying for Cable TV?

For years, people have bundled their Internet, Cable, and Phone bills.  A "packaged plan" where you save $5-$10 on each and only have to pay one bill. Yes, that sounds so fun!   Well, here is the reality for 2018.  Can you relate to any of these?

• I never have time to watch TV.  I DVR everything.  I cannot tell you what day of the week a show comes on.  When I find a few minutes to watch TV, I want to just sit down and watch it.  It is annoying enough to fast-forward through the commercials even then. 
• Who still needs a home phone?  Most recently, I used my landline for faxes, but who is still faxing info?  "Scan and email" is today's recipe of sharing/sending documents.  I use my cell  for all of my personal calls. 

So, what does that bundle do for you other than empty your wallet?  Here is what I propose.  Call your internet provider and get the highest speed of service and then cancel your cable and home phone.   Try a service like VUDU or a popular subscription site for only a few $ a month or pay-per-view billing.   Then see how much you save.  Busy people do not tend to watch a lot of TV, so be aware of your options.  Choose a plan that fits your lifestyle and lightens the load on your wallet. Changing habits can save!
